Indoor Mix 7L Bag

$21.00

Give your indoor plants the best start with our premium 7L Indoor Potting Mix. Specially formulated for life in pots, this blend balances moisture retention with airflow, so roots don’t get waterlogged or starved of oxygen. The result? Stronger, healthier plants that thrive indoors.

Because it’s fertiliser-free, you get full control over how and when to feed your plants — no hidden additives, just the perfect foundation for growth. And with its lightweight, free-draining texture, this mix makes repotting simple while keeping your plants happier for longer.

Why you’ll love it

  • Lightweight & porous – roots get the airflow they need to stay strong.
  • Fertiliser-free – you’re in charge of feeding, for better results.
  • Resealable bag – fresher for longer, less mess, easy storage.
  • Versatile blend – crafted for most indoor and potted plants.
  • Pest protection – includes a horticultural-grade granular insecticide to keep fungus gnats away for up to 6 months after bagging.
  • Practical 7L size – perfect for repotting projects or topping up pots.

Storage - Store in a cool, dark place when not in use.

Please note: We cannot ship potting mix into Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania, or internationally due to biosecurity regulations.

Check out our potting up guide here.

If it’s your first time potting - no stress. We’ve created a guide to potting up here. Each bag also has a potting up guide on the back so you'll be covered no matter how good your internet reception is (or isn’t!).

FAQ

Does this mix contain fertiliser?

Nope. Our mix is fertiliser-free so you stay in control of feeding. Pair it with a complete liquid fertiliser (like The Plant Runner Indoor Plant Food) for best results.

Is this mix safe for all indoor plants?

Yes — it’s a versatile blend that suits most indoor and potted plants, from leafy greens to flowering varieties.

Why is there an insecticide in the mix?

We’ve added a horticultural-grade granular insecticide (Acelepryn GR) to keep fungus gnats out of your soil. It’s active for up to 6 months, giving you gnat-free confidence.

Can I use this mix outdoors?

You can, but it’s designed for indoor plants in pots. For outdoor gardening, you may prefer a mix formulated for garden beds or larger containers.

How should I store the bag once opened?

Seal it back up and keep it in a cool, dark spot. The resealable bag helps keep your mix fresh and easy to store.

Is the potting mix hazardous?

Yes. Like all premium potting mixes, it’s classified as hazardous. Always wear gloves, wash your hands after use, and follow the safety instructions on the bag.
