Plant Care Essentials Kit

$32.00

Two bottles that cover the everyday side of indoor plant care.

  • What's inside: 100ml Indoor Plant Food and 245ml Neem Oil Leaf Shine, in a bespoke gift box
  • What they do: one feeds the plant, one keeps its leaves clean so they can make the most of the light
  • Best for: a gift for someone with plants, or a starting point if you've just got into them
  • Ready to go: arrives boxed, so there's nothing to wrap

Buying for someone with plants is hard — they've usually got the plants covered. What they tend not to have is the unglamorous stuff that keeps them going.

Indoors, a plant only gets what you give it. Indoor Plant Food replaces the nutrients a pot runs out of — 1ml per litre, every second watering, and one bottle makes up to 100L. Neem Oil Leaf Shine lifts the household dust that builds up on foliage indoors, so the leaves can make proper use of the light they're getting. Together, they cover two simple jobs worth doing regularly: feeding the roots and cleaning the leaves.

Both bottles are ready to use — nothing to mix, nothing to work out. Whoever opens the box can start that afternoon.

They arrive in a gift box built for the purpose, so it's ready to hand over without wrapping. Buying them for yourself? The same two bottles come without the box for $3 less.

Made in Melbourne.

FAQ

Will the copper tarnish?

Yes, and that's intended. Unsealed copper darkens and mottles with use — it's a sign of a tool that gets used, not one that's wearing out. If you'd rather keep it bright, a rub with lemon juice and salt brings it back.

Is it big enough for larger pots?

It's sized for 100–150mm pots and the narrow gaps you get when potting up. For a 300mm pot it'll work, but you'll be making more trips than you'd like. It's an indoor tool, not a garden one.

Can I leave it in damp mix?

Don't. The lacquer protects the handle, but copper left sitting in wet mix will spot rather than patina evenly. Brush it off, let it dry, bag it.
