It's easy to forget, but a leaf is how a plant feeds itself — and indoors, those leaves slowly gather a film of household dust that nothing comes along to wash off. Outdoors, wind and rain keep foliage clean. Inside, that job's on you. Our Neem Oil Leaf Shine is the easy way to do it: a quick wipe lifts the dust, brings back the natural gloss, and lets the leaf get on with the job of soaking up light.

It's made with 100% organic neem seed oil, hand-blended with a plant-based wetting agent to help it spread evenly across the leaf. No synthetic fragrance, no artificial glossing agents — just a simple foliage-care product that lifts dust and leaves a clean, natural shine when wiped on properly. It's safe to use around pets and children when used as directed (keep it out of reach and don't ingest it), and it won't leave the greasy residue some leaf products do.

Spray directly onto foliage and wipe gently with a soft cloth — or spray onto the cloth and wipe each leaf individually for more delicate plants. Either way leaves a natural shine.

A few simple rules to keep it foolproof: don't wipe pubescent (hairy) leaves like African Violets and some Begonias, as the texture doesn't suit a wipe-down; don't apply in direct sun (if your plant gets direct light during the day, do it in the evening to avoid marking the leaves); and patch-test first on delicate or sensitive species before doing the whole plant.

Wipe down every few weeks, or whenever leaves look dull and dusty — there's no fixed schedule, just clean them when they need it. Store in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight.

Does Neem Oil kill pests?

Our neem is not registered with the APVMA and therefore we cannot promote it as a pesticide. The active ingredient is Azadirachtin - google it.

Does Neem Oil clog plant pores?

One of the great things about Neem Oil is that it is non-comodegenic and therefore it will not clog your plant's pores, unlike other oils on the market.

Is Neem Oil safe to use around the home?

It's an all-natural, organic product and is safe to use around pets and children when used as directed. As with any plant-care product, keep it out of reach and don't ingest it.

What is the shelf life of your Neem Oil?

Unlike other neem blends, the active ingredients in our Neem Oil remain active for 12 months after purchasing.

How often should I use it?

There's no set schedule — wipe leaves down every few weeks, or whenever they're looking dull and dusty. Clean them when they need it, not by the calendar.

What does Neem Oil actually do?

It's a foliage cleaner and natural leaf shine. A regular wipe lifts the household dust that settles on indoor leaves and dulls them — clearing it brings back the natural gloss and lets the leaf absorb light properly. Think of it as the indoor stand-in for the wind and rain that keep outdoor plants clean.

Which plants should I NOT use it on?

Avoid wiping hairy (pubescent) leaves — African Violets and some Begonias are the usual ones — because the texture doesn't suit a wipe-down. For anything delicate or unfamiliar, do a quick patch test on one leaf first.

Can I use it in direct sunlight?

Best not to. Applying neem to leaves in direct sun can mark them. If your plant sits in direct light during the day, wipe it down in the evening instead.

What's the difference between this and the 1L refill?

This is the ready-to-use 245ml spray bottle. The 1L refill is the top-up — pour it into your existing spray bottle (or dab straight onto your cloth) once you've run the first one down. Same oil, less packaging, better value per ml.
