The same neem, four bottles' worth.
-
What it is: a 980ml refill of our Neem Oil Leaf Shine — same blend, bigger bottle
-
What it does: refills the spray bottle you already have, four times over
-
The value: four bottles' worth for about the price of two
-
Best used: if you've got a big collection, or you've been through a bottle already
-
How to use: pour into your existing 245ml spray bottle, shake, carry on
If you've emptied a bottle of our leaf shine, this is the one to buy next. Identical blend — cold-pressed neem seed oil, water and a plant-based wetting agent, ready to use, nothing to mix.
980ml fills your 245ml spray bottle four times. At $39 that's roughly half the price per wipe, and it keeps three bottles and three trigger sprays out of the world. The glass pours cleanly, so it's a top-up rather than a funnel-and-swearing job.
Worth knowing before you size up: neem stays good for twelve months, so this makes sense if you're getting through a bottle in a season or you've got a lot of foliage to keep clean. If a 245ml lasts you a year, stick with the smaller one.
New to it? The full story is on the main product page — what it's for, why cold-pressed, and how to use it on different foliage.
Made in Melbourne by horticulturalists who started out hand-bottling this exact product at local markets.
Ready to use — no mixing. Shake well before use.
Refilling. Pour straight into your 245ml spray bottle. The glass pours cleanly, so you shouldn't need a funnel. 980ml fills it four times.
Applying. Spray onto a soft cloth and wipe each leaf individually. For big, robust foliage you can spray the plant directly and wipe it down, but the cloth is the default. At a pinch you can dab it onto the cloth straight from the refill bottle.
A few rules to keep it foolproof. Don't wipe hairy (pubescent) leaves — African violets and some begonias don't suit a wipe-down. Don't apply in direct sun; if your plant gets direct light during the day, do it in the evening to avoid marking the leaves. And patch-test on delicate or sensitive species before doing the whole plant.
How often. Every few weeks, or whenever leaves look dull and dusty. No fixed schedule — clean them when they need it.
If it thickens in cold weather. That's the neem oil doing what neem oil does below about 14°C. Sit the bottle in a jug of hot water for ten minutes, shake well, and it's back to normal.
Storage. Cool, dry, out of direct sunlight.
