Hand-Forged All-Purpose Pruning Shears

Designed for clean, precise pruning indoors, these hand-forged shears are especially well suited to green stems, small branches and more delicate cutting work. The rounded high-carbon steel blade gives you excellent control in tighter spaces, while the forged construction creates a dense, durable edge that stays sharper for longer.

What sets them apart is the feel in hand. Designed by Toyama Hamono, the asymmetrical ergonomic grip sits comfortably in the palm and makes it easier to apply force without the tool feeling awkward or bulky. It’s a thoughtful detail that gives the shears a more balanced, confident feel in use.

The black grip is finished using a traditional baking process rather than conventional paint, giving the shears their understated dark finish and a more natural expression of the material.

Sharp, durable and beautifully balanced, these are the kind of shears you buy once and keep for a very long time.
