Aroids thrive on steady, consistent nutrition — and our Aroid Food is built exactly for that.
It's a urea-free, nitrate-based formula designed specifically for aroids (think Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium and friends), with chelated micronutrients plus added calcium and magnesium to support healthy foliage, strong roots, and reliable new growth.
Why urea-free matters: nitrate-based nitrogen is more directly available to your plants in potting media, which means more predictable results and less of the "why isn't anything happening?" frustration.
Why lower phosphorus: at NPK 4.5–1–3, the focus stays on leaf and root growth — not pushing your Monstera into flowering mode it never asked for.
Why chelated micronutrients: chelation keeps trace elements available even in chunky aroid mixes or slightly alkaline tap water — the two situations where standard fertilisers often fall short.
What you'll notice: stronger, cleaner new leaves with better shape and colour. Steadier growth when you stick to a simple routine. And fewer of those "why is the new growth looking pale?" moments.
Typical Analysis (w/v)
Primary Nutrients
Nitrogen (N) — 4.50% Phosphorus (P) — 1.00% Potassium (K) — 3.00% Calcium (Ca) — 3.08% Magnesium (Mg) — 0.95%
Micronutrients
Iron (Fe) — 0.0168% Manganese (Mn) — 0.0085% Copper (Cu) — 0.0085% Zinc (Zn) — 0.0030% Boron (B) — 0.0044% Molybdenum (Mo) — 0.000115%
Concentrate pH: 3.8–4.5
A note on pH: The concentrate is mildly acidic to keep calcium and micronutrients stable in the bottle. Once diluted at 2 mL/L it's gentle, and plays well with the slightly alkaline tap water common in Australian cities.
Best for (aroids) Monstera, Philodendron,
Anthurium, Alocasia, Rhaphidophora, Syngonium, Pothos, Scindapsus.
Also great for Most leafy indoor plants that do
best with a gentle, consistent feeding routine.
Dilution rate: 2 mL per 1 L of water.
During active growth: feed every second watering.
In cooler months or slower growth periods: feed every third or fourth watering, or drop to 1 mL/L.
Water thoroughly and let excess drain freely — little sips don't help anyone.
Shake before use. Store out of direct sunlight.
